Your mouse troubles could be a simple case of outdated or corrupted drivers.
Use the Tab key to go to the “Apply” option and press the Spacebar. Keep pressing the Tab key until you reach the “Hide pointer while typing” checkbox. Using the arrow keys, go to the “Pointer Options” tab. Under “Mouse Properties,” keep pressing the Tab key to reach the “Buttons” tab. 
Press the “Win + R” shortcut to show the Run command dialogue box. If the mouse cursor tends only to disappear while you’re typing, it may be due to the mouse configuration. Remove and reconnect the cable or Bluetooth dongle. Navigate to “OK” and press the Spacebar to exit. Using the Tab key, go to “Apply” and hit the Spacebar. Use the Tab key to move to the “Hide pointer while typing” tick box. Go to the “Pointer Options” tab using the right arrow key. Type “ control mouse” and hit “Enter” to open the “Mouse Properties.”. Press “Win + R” to open the Run dialogue box. If it only disappears while you’re typing, take the following steps to “unhide” it: There is a possibility your mouse is configured to hide the cursor. Navigate to “Scan for hardware changes” and hit “Enter.”. Go to the “Mice and other pointing devices option” and press “Shift + F10.”. Press “Shift + F10” and select “Uninstall device.”. If the issue persists, you can uninstall and reinstall your drivers: Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize the process. Select the “Search automatically for updated driver software” option using the arrow keys. Go to “Update driver” using the down arrow key and press “Enter.”. Press “Shift + F10” to right-click on the driver and open a drop-down menu. Choose your mouse using the down arrow key. Hit the right arrow key to expand the option. 
Use the “Tab” key to focus on the window and then the down arrow key to navigate to the “Mice and other pointing devices” option. Navigate to the “Device Manager” using the down arrow key and press “Enter.”.
